Veronica received her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Virginia in 2018 where she specialized in leveraging video game technology to investigate human perception. She spent her graduate career honing her presenting skills and won numerous awards for her ability to translate findings from basic science into compelling stories. Veronica is now a member of the play4REAL XR Lab in the Yale Center for Health and Learning Games where she develops and evaluates theory and evidence-informed video game interventions that have a positive effect on the health of teens.
