For the last 20 years, Mrs. Brisson has been teaching History in Quebec. Her many projects aim to develop her students’ interest in history. Mrs. Brisson’s latest project is the use of video games to better engage students in the understanding of the birth of democracy in Ancient Athens. The success of her project attracted the attention of universities worldwide. Her contribution to the field of education was also recognized in 2020 when Mrs. Brisson was nominated for the Excellence in Teaching Award of the Governor General of Canada.
