Keynote - What We Get Wrong About Kids Behaving Badly Online

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The growing discussion surrounding management of “toxic” behavior in online games is tied, in part, to concerns about the impact disruptive and harmful behavior may have on children. This talk explores why kids need to grief, take risks, and make friends all at the same time. We will explore the question of what prosocial behavior for tweens looks like and why getting it right in our games matters for the future of online civility.
