VR Games to Support Empathy and Compassion in Nigeria

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, with over 250 ethnic groups and 500 languages. These diverse groups struggle to see themselves as a united nation. Our Templeton Foundation project creates a VR game where teenagers, embody or observe someone from another ethnic group facing discrimination. We discuss the challenges of creating a fun, engaging, unique for the audience, effective for enhancing empathy, and culturally relevant VR game for Nigerian teenagers.
