2020 was the start of a new civil rights movement. Black Lives Matter protests created momentum for racial justice, but the way we honor history and teach American stories in and out of the classroom still has a long way to go. The nonprofit Movers and Shakers is using augmented reality to bring the stories of marginalized historical icons to life in fun and engaging ways. Join Movers and Shakers’ co-founders Glenn Cantave and Idris Brewster to learn more about how to unite a coalition of artists, educators, app developers and historians to bring activism into the 21st century.
